We hope that you find this site interesting and that it answers all the questions you may want to know.
The Drifters have been around for some 15 years and have the use ofthe lake at Collett Park.
The home water at Collett Park Lake plays host to a few model boat regattas during the year.
The water is the envy of scale model boaters around the country as it provides a very sheltered sailing area and the depths is only 18 inches!
The club sails at Collett Park Lake on the first Sunday every month.
We have a club meeting every alternate month and sometimes have guest speakers and all our members receive a club news letter in the intermediate month. This keeps members up to date with events pasts and future.
We enjoy travelling and some of our members can be seen atthe SWAMBC events, as well as taking part in national events.
We are a club that's here to stay for at least the next 100 years, as a copy of our Annual Try-Fold Leaflet and News Letter has been sealed by Shepton Mallet Council in a millennium capsule, only to be opened on the 21st November 2101.
